Chef Rick Kowalewski and his considerable talents are now exclusive to 416 CRUISES. His love of food and cooking began as a young child at the age of eight and the love affair is still going strong. Schooled and formally trained at first class establishments in Europe, Chef Rick has vast experience in hotels, catering, and restaurants.
After graduating from an esteemed cooking academy in Europe, Chef Rick went on to apprentice at the Hotel Grand Astoria in Italy. He continued to hone his skills and develop his creative talents in Toronto as a Sous Chef at the venerable Royal York Hotel and at the Sofitel Hotel in both Toronto and in Europe. |
416 CRUISES is delighted to have Chef Rick aboard. He will have complete control of everything food related from the menu planning to the presentation. Chef Rick will ensure that our menus are fresh and innovative and that the presentation is attractive and appealing on all of our cruises – corporate, personal, and public. When planning your corporate and personal functions, Chef Rick, with his in depth knowledge of international cuisine, will prove to be an invaluable resource in the creation of custom and specialty menus.
